Alfred University, a leading US university in applied engineering, ceramic, glass, and materials engineering, recently stood up a joint initiative with Classiq, a commercial supplier of quantum software engineering platforms, to support engineering education, applied energy systems research, and preparation for an emerging quantum workforce. The goal of the initiative is to make quantum computing (QC) accessible to students and researchers without requiring deep QC technology or programming expertise, accelerating the bridge between theory and real-world application.
