As many believe that it may be only 2-3 years until quantum computing can clearly demonstrate performance advantage over classical counterparts, HPC end users are more actively looking at the challenges and opportunities that quantum computing can bring to their classical HPC ecosystem. This written brief lays out a potential strategic plan for interested HPC end users to take the first necessary steps in that process.
