Description
The fourth edition of EuroHPC User Days was held in Dublin, Ireland from September 22-24, 2026, having been previously hosted in Brussels, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen. With over 700 attendees representing 150 organizations, 93 speakers, 30 exhibitors representing quantum (9), AI factories (12), and operational HPC systems (9), and 37 posters representing research and innovation projects funded by the JU and three private members. Primary takeaways from the 2026 EuroHPC User Days event include:
- Simplifying access to infrastructure is a high priority.
- The JU’s ability to respond to rapidly evolving market and technology forces bodes well for the European scientific research community.
- Emergence of EU sovereignty is visible both directly and subtly.
- Meaningful and impactful research is being delivered from JU-funded resources.
- Refreshing engagement with and participation from the next generation provides mutual benefits for the students and participating research institutions and datacenters.
