Intel Advancing the Landscape of Molecular Dynamics

The HPC User Forum was established in 1999 to promote the health of the global HPC industry and address issues of common concern to users. In September 2019, the 73rd HPC User Forum took place at Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois. This update summarizes a presentation from that meeting entitled HPC in Industry, given by Brendan McGinty, NCSA Director.

The HPC User Forum was established in 1999 to promote the health of the global HPC industry and address issues of common concern to users. In October 2022, the 81st HPC User Forum took place at HLRS Stuttgart, Germany. This update summarizes a presentation from that conference given by Roland Krüppel, who is responsible for the HPC activities at the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (abbreviated BMBF for Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung). This presentation and brief Q&A session was meant to highlight the German HPC strategy, give an overview of the current situation, and discuss their plans for the future.
